I commissioned some art!

I commissioned some art! There are an enormous amount of wonderfully talented artists that I've seen on bluesky and other places online. I'm a huge fan of buying art from artists, and I try to do it whenever I can.

I've always wanted to commission something from an artist too, but it has always been something I've felt a little apprehensive about doing. Would I be able to describe what I want well enough? Is it out of my price range? These are reasonable concerns! I'd like to eventually commission a physical work of art from someone - probably a pet portrait of my guy DONUT - but I decided to start smaller!

There are a ton of nice folks online that take commissions and work for super reasonable prices. Momo is one of those artists! They sometimes take commissions for their specialty: little small guys! I commissioned a cute little guy from them earlier this week. Someone in the 32-bit cafe Disord chat got a social media avatar done by them and I thought it looked great. I wanted one too! I subscribed to their ko-fi profile and bought one when they opened up their commissions. I asked them for a "happy little raccoon guy with a little hat". They turned it around super fast and I'm real pleased with it.
